Chocolate Bullet - a new love

One of my work colleagues has got me on chocolate licorice bullets... hmmmmm... so good. He bought the cheapie ones last week. About 30 mins ago, I went for a stroll to Darrel Lea and bought good ones for $3.00 - yummmmmm... I love. Someone take them away from meeeeeeeeeeeeee...!

Tee hee...

I have a rental inspection tomorrow, so will be working from home, hoorayyyyyy...!

and maybe going ice-skating too...

Login expired

My contract technically ended on the 21st May 2006... My mgr told me to come in anyway, and I attempted to log into my PC. It said my account was expired. *cry* *cry*

My mgr forwarded me an email later in the afternoon, one of those FYIs, the HR chick claims she sent me a new contract via internal mail. Well, of course, I never received anything!

Every organisation I've worked for, Human Resources, has got to the the slackest department there is. I mean, really, WTF do they do for a living? Sheesh! >_<

Also, I've decided to leave the nest, its the telling the parents thing that I'm going to leave the nest thing that I'm a bit worried about it, since I'm the eldest. But honestly, its time for me to go...

Hmm... I'm a bit behind on amethystangel.net - I'm planning a traffic light tutorial. Honestly, its not gonna be that in-depth, just the laziness taking over and also my make-up fetish. Yeah, I buy the stuff, but never wear it. I'm an idiot, needless to say. And I'm an internal blonde, but that's another story. A joke between me and whathisface @ work. No, not my mgr. My mgr already thinks there's something wrong with me, because I've been too quiet as of late. But I shall return...

It is April Fool's day.

My bf played a joke on me today, like he does every year, except I didn't fall for it.
I was asleep and he sent me an SMS, this is how it went.

BF: Darling, I have to urgently go to the ACT for three weeks as of Monday because of a huge stuff up with a parole transfer!
Me: Oh cool, do they pay for you?
BF: Yea, but the director told me I may have to accept as additional ten week posting because of my social work degree.
BF: I may have to do some admin stuff over there for ages, can you look after my unit and bike?

At this point, I was thinking, WHAT IS THE FUCKING DATE TODAY?

ME: Oh i c... ITS APRIL FOOLS DAY, YOU CAN'T FOOL ME!

Then he rings me up laughing... He thinks he's funny.

Another blunder by EX company

Well, I came home to my final payslip - to find I still have 5.85 hrs owing to me in annual leave. Do payroll not understand the concept of 2 weeks notice, resigned, pay out annual leave? I guess not, cos the payroll person is blonde.

I know, so what if its 5.85 hrs? It is $93.25 (before tax) - it may seem measly, but I can get a pair of awesome jeans for that amount. Well, I need to pay off two pairs of $200 jeans I put on lay-by the other day.

DAMMIT, I WANT MY MONEY!

This is the first version of my email to payroll:

Hi there,

I received my final pay slip in the mail today and find that I still have 5.85 hrs (0.8 days) of annual leave owing to me? Why wasn't this paid out completely? I gave sufficient notice regarding my resignation... two weeks notice, that's it. Everything has been returned. And I even turned up on my last shift, which is more than what I can say for most people. So please do me the courtesy and pay out everything that you're meant to.

Also, I had requested a certificate of service on the 12 March 2004. I have yet to receive it...

Please rectify all requests as soon as possible. ie. pay out the remaining annual leave to go in this Thursday and generate a copy of the certificate of service and pass it onto CM.

The way to my heart is my tummy...

I cooked on Thursday night (I think), but I don't think my darling liked it. He said it tasted fishy. Yes, I cooked fish. And probably used too much lime juice in the sauce. Oh well, my attempts at being a chef have failed. My dear martian can be the cook. I'll just sit there and look pretty. Hahaha =D

Anyway, last night, we went to Joe's Fish Shack in Freo - I had the beautiful 1/2 crayfish with salad and my boyfriend had the beef. Worth every cent! Service was awesome and the atmosphere was great. I think I might have my 25th birthday there.

Then we made our way to Gelare - one of our main retreats. It's near where my boyfriend lives and we like their stuff.

And today, I made a cake! See below...

Good Friday...

I spent my afternoon sleeping on my bf's couch... was having dreams about car racing (bf was playing Gran Turismo 4) and someone trashing a chinese restaurant. I know, weird. Hahaha, that's me!

Yes, I just came back from watching Miss Congeniality: Armed and Fabulous - the first one was better, I have to say. My sister thought so too. We had coke and popcorn and now I probably won't be able to sleep.

Must go and taketh out my contacts lenses... Nighty night!

The Long Weekend...

The start of a long weekend... well, not really a long weekend for my hunnie-buns, he's having his holidays now (Tues - Fri), then he goes back to sucky work on Saturday.

Instead of getting sloshed and wasting our money, we had delicious BBQ Pork spare ribs (secret recipe) with steamed vegies (I drown mine in butter - I love it). Then we went to Gelare for some icecream - I had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Jamaican Chocolate - it was delish and I was in heaven. Been craving it all day.

Right now, we are watching Starship Troopers - I am sort of watching it, but not really.

Anyway, have fun children!

A lovely nite...

Last night, my darling and I went to Jaw's for dinner... I was being picky, ate about 4 plates of sushi type stuff... Then we made our way to il Gelato - extremely yummy ice-cream you will ever taste in your life.

After that, we went to the Brass Monkey for a drink. I had champagne and orange juice. I have taken a liking for it. And my little martian had a pint.

I resigned today, handed my TL my 2 weeks required notice, so I can get all the annual leave owing to be paid out. But damn that tax man, he'll take a good chomp of it... bastard!!

I have to do some stupid employee exit questionnaire, its really a load of bull shit. They want to know why we're leaving - the bottom line for me is that my non-existant career just isn't going... ANYWHERE, and it's no thanks to Buzzing Bees... and also the renumeration. It's called minimum wage. Buzzing Bees does everything at the minimum level.

Oh well...

Well, what can I say? I had a fun nite with D & L, drank heaps... hehehe, we also managed to scam a couple of shotties of tequila... I think D & L were flirting were the male bartenders. Well, why not? They're young and gorgeous, why not turn on the charm?

We left The Deen and then headed to Varga Lounge... I love hip hop music!

Then we got D's stalker to take us home...

Oh my god! When I went to work this morning, the training room was hot and stuff - airconditioning was switched off at work... and they WONDER why 44 people quit in January. Apparently they're trying to cut down costs by turning off the aircon... hello??? 44 people quit, isn't that enough costs having been cut? You're paying 44 people less, you f**king idiots! And I also heard that no-one's been applying, they've resorted to hiring idiots off the street who CAN'T spell... *shakes head in disgust*

I have been applying for a couple of jobs everyday, hopefully I will get something soon... I didn't study for 4 years just for the fun of it... I was hoping to work my way up, but look at me, 2 years and 12 days later, still stuck in friggin customer care... the company likes to hire idiots off the street who don't know anything... the ADSL training was a load of crap, totally wrong. Who wrote it, obviously someone who was pulling shit out of their arse.

Enough whinging for today... is that how you spell it?

I'm so annoyed tho, I sold two pairs of earrings to this chick at work, and I said she can pay me when she has some cash on her... and she ends up quitting from my current workplace. So here I am, just fumingggg.... and then I email a couple of people to see if they have her contact number...

Now, Nikkerz, has her home number and I'm too chicken to call!! I feel like I'm being rude...*sigh*

I also rang the recruitment company for one of the jobs I went for... they still haven't heard anything... Oh come on! I so wanna get outta here!! Its driving me absolutely insane... *evils*
